Marvel Snap has hurt the Best Boy we all know and love! This week, the devs are spicing things up with a fresh batch of balance changes aimed at shaking up the meta and keeping things exciting. Let’s dive in and see what’s cookin’!
Adam Warlock is finally getting some love! He’s trading his 2-Cost frame for a beefier 5/4, making it tougher to trigger his card-drawing ability but rewarding you with more Power for your troubles. This is a big change, and it’ll be interesting to see if Adam Warlock can finally find a place in the meta.
Darkhawk is taking a small step back, going from 4/0 to 5/4. 🪶 This doesn’t seem like much, but it could be enough to dethrone him from his king-of-the-hill position. The devs are keeping an eye on him, though, and who knows, he might be back on top in a future update.
Forge, the 1-Cost powerhouse, is getting slightly downsized from 1/1 to 2/2. While this might seem like a nerf, the devs are planning to buff other 1-Cost cards in the future to compensate. This is a smart move to keep the 1-Cost options diverse and interesting.
Ant-Man is getting a small but welcome buff! He’s now a 1/1 with the same ability, but his bonus Power jumps from 3 to 4 when your side of the location is full. This is a subtle change, but it could make a big difference in some decks.
America Chavez is swapping places with Forge, becoming a 1-Cost card with a similar ability. This makes sense, as both cards boost the power of the top card in your deck. With both cards adjusted, hopefully, they’ll find a healthy balance in the meta.
Lockjaw is getting a bit more expensive, moving from 3/2 to 4/5. While this might seem harsh, the devs are worried about his ability to “cheat” Energy and draw cards. To compensate for the cost increase, Lockjaw is getting a nice boost in Power.
Sword Master is getting a slight buff, going from 3/6 to 3/7. ️ This might not seem like much, but it could be enough to make him a more viable option in Discard decks.
Vulture is getting a little stronger, with his move ability now granting +6 Power instead of +5. This is a nice buff for an older card that hasn’t seen much play lately.
