To celebrate the launch of the new Pokémon Horizons series, Niantic has dropped a surprise research line that lets you snag this cool Pikachu sporting a captain’s hat. Don’t miss out, though – this offer sets sail by March 13th at 11:59 p.m. sharp!
Here’s how to chart your course:
- Head to the Pokémon GO web store and enter the code CAPTAINPIKACHU
- Get ready to explore! Your first task is to walk 3km – a perfect excuse to hatch some eggs and stock up on goodies.
- Catch 20 Pokémon – encounter some new friends and test your throwing skills!
- Spin 10 PokéStops or Gyms – gotta snag those essential items to keep your Pokémon battle-ready.
Complete these tasks and you’ll be rewarded with:
- A whopping 5,000 XP to level up your Trainer profile!
- 2,500 Stardust to power up your Pokémon.
- And the grand prize: a chance to encounter Captain Pikachu!
