Marvel Snap OTA is live! Calling all Snap fam, the latest OTA update just dropped, and it’s a doozy! This patch definitely has the “shocking” power of a thunderstorm, especially for Thanos and Discard decks. ⚡
Thanos Takes a Hit (But Maybe Not for Long?)
The Mad Titan himself is finally getting some long-awaited adjustments. He’ll now always start in your hand, shuffling the Infinity Stones into your deck as usual. This is just the first step in a Thanos overhaul, with devs aiming to make him the centerpiece while reducing the overall flexibility of Thanos decks.
Stones Get Squeezed (Especially Time)
The Time Stone, a Thanos BFF, is taking a bigger hit than last time. Now it specifically reduces Thanos’ cost next turn, further emphasizing the Titan’s importance. Will this make Thanos decks less dominant? We’ll have to see, but it’s definitely a shake-up!
Discard Gets Tuned (Miek Feels the Pinch)
Remember all that Apocalypse chatter? Well, it seems Miek has become the new Discard MVP. To even the playing field, he’s getting a slight power downgrade. Will this be enough, or will Discard decks find another champion?
Crossbones vs. Cull Obsidian: The Face-Off We Didn’t Know We Needed
The devs are giving us a little nudge with Crossbones’ buff. He’s now a 4/10, putting him on par with Cull Obsidian in terms of raw power, but still with the “winning location” restriction. Who will reign supreme? Time to experiment and see which anti-hero fits your deck better!
Sabertooth Gets a Point (Literally!)
Joining the ranks of the 3/5 club is Sabertooth! This buff reflects a trend of adjusting lower-cost cards for better balance. Do you think 3/5 is the new standard?
Angela’s Back in Action!
Remember that “small ball” Angela dominance? It might be making a comeback! With a buff to her ability (+2 Power instead of +1), Angela could be the key to reviving those Silky Smoove decks.
What are your thoughts, Marvel Snap fam?
Are these changes enough to shake up the meta? Who are you most excited to try out with the new update? Let’s discuss in the comments!
