October is going to be a busy month for Pokémon GO Trainers! Here’s a look at all the events and activities happening throughout the month:
- Raids:
- Five Star Raids: Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Guzzlord, and Darkrai will appear in Five Star Raids at different times throughout October.
- Mega Raids: Mega Gardevoir, Mega Gengar, and Mega Banette will appear as raid bosses in Mega Raids during specific periods.
- Raid Hours: During Raid Hours, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, certain Pokémon will be more prevalent in Five Star Raids on specific dates throughout October.
- Team GO Rocket Shadow Raids: Team GO Rocket Shadow Raids will also be available daily, with one-star and three-star raids occurring regularly. On Saturdays and Sundays, there will be the chance to encounter powerful Shadow Moltres in five-star Shadow Raids.
- Spotlight Hours: Spotlight Hours will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, featuring different Pokémon on specific dates throughout October.
- Field Research: By completing Field Research tasks during the whole season, Trainers can earn encounter rewards with Sableye, Galarian Farfetch’d, Larvitar, Furfrou, Bagon, and Goomy.
- Events:
- Community Day: Community Day will take place on October 15, where Trainers can enjoy special bonuses and encounters.
- Out to Play Event: The Out to Play Event starts on September 27 and runs until October 2.
- GO Battle Weekend: GO Battle Weekend will occur on October 7 and 8.
- Harvest Festival Event: The Harvest Festival Event is scheduled from October 12 to 17.
- Incense Day: Incense Day will take place on October 21.
- Pokémon GO Halloween event: The Pokémon GO Halloween event will run from October 19 to 31.
- Team GO Rocket Takeover event: The Team GO Rocket Takeover event will happen from October 26 to 31.
- Master Ball Timed Investigation: Trainers have the opportunity to embark on a Timed Investigation called Master Ball. This series of challenges will be available throughout Pokémon GO: Adventures Abound. By completing the Timed Investigation before November 21, 2023, Trainers will receive the highly coveted Master Ball, which guarantees the capture of any encountered Pokémon.
- Special Research ticket: For Trainers who are unable to complete the Timed Investigation, there will be the option to purchase a Special Research ticket that awards a Master Ball. This ensures that no Trainer misses out on the chance to obtain this powerful Poké Ball.
