Trainers, the Spotlight Hour schedule for October 2023 is here! Spotlight Hour is a weekly event where a specific Pokémon appears more frequently in the wild for one hour. This is a great opportunity to catch a lot of that Pokémon, especially if it’s one that you’re missing from your Pokédex.
Here is the schedule for Spotlight Hour in October 2023:
*October 3rd: Slowpoke (2x Transfer Candy bonus)
*October 10th: Shroomish (2x XP for evolving Pokémon)
*October 17th: Pumpkaboo (2x Stardust for catching Pokémon)
*October 24th: Phantump (2x XP for catching Pokémon)
*October 31st: Yamask (2x Candy for catching Pokémon)
We think the Spotlight Hour schedule for October 2023 is great! EVERY Pokemon has the chance to be shiny as well, but note that the shiny odds aren’t boosted, but still the best chance to get one. There are some really good Pokémon featured, such as Pumpkaboo and Yamask. I’m also excited for the 2x XP and Stardust bonuses.
Here are some tips for getting the most out of Spotlight Hour:
*Use a Lure and Incense to attract more Pokémon to you.
*Use Pinap Berries to double the amount of Candy you earn from catching Pokémon.
*Use Lucky Eggs to double the amount of XP you earn for 30 minutes.
*Use Star Pieces to double the amount of Stardust you earn for 30 minutes.
*Go to a popular PokéStop spot to find more Poké stops and Trainers to join.
